Curious about drawing portraits but not sure where to start? This relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect place to explore the expressive world of charcoal drawing—no experience needed!

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Break down the face into simple shapes and proportions
  • Use charcoal to create soft shading and bold lines
  • Bring your portraits to life with light, shadow, and emotion
  • Build confidence in your drawing skills in a supportive environment

You’ll be guided by Michael Bourke who will help you feel comfortable with the materials and techniques. By the end, you’ll have your very own charcoal portrait to take home!

All materials supplied
