This exhibition comprises Aboriginal art belonging to the Gora Singh Mann Collection.
Mr Mann, a well-known local philanthropist, has been collecting art for over fifty years and has amassed an impressive collection. With his business partner and friend, William Tatlow, they donated a significant portion of their collection of Asian ceramics and art to the Wollongong Art Gallery.
Mr Mann has also generously donated art from his collection to the Mudgee District Hospital, the Mid-Western Regional Council and many other local businesses.
Some of Australia’s most acclaimed artists are included in this exhibition, including Gloria Petyarre, Lily Sandover Kngwarreye and Minnie Pwerle from Utopia in the Northern Territory.
