Join us for a special talk with Dr Warwick Heywood, Kenneth E. Tyler Curator of International Prints & Drawings at the National Gallery of Australia, on Saturday 25 October at 10am.

Dr Heywood will delve into the life and legacy of master printmaker, Kenneth E. Tyler, highlighting the importance of the Kenneth Tyler Print Collection – including featured works by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein that are part of the Icons of Pop Art exhibition.

Between 1966 and 2001, Kenneth Tyler collaborated with many of the twentieth century’s most influential artists, creating projects that redefined the artistic and technical possibilities of printmaking. Today, the National Gallery of Australia’s Kenneth Tyler Print Collection stands as the most comprehensive assembly of post-war American art outside the United States. It encompasses more than 7,400 editioned prints, proofs, drawings, paper works, screens, multiples, and illustrated books, along with a remarkable archive of rare candid photography, film and audio.
