After the success of its inaugural MAP Portrait Prize, Mudgee Arts Precinct is seeking sponsorship for its second portrait prize competition, opening 1 November 2024 and running until 2 February 2025.

The inaugural MAP Portrait Prize held in 2022 was a resounding success, receiving over 400 entries with 84 finalists exhibited. Almost half of the finalists came from within the Mid-Western Region, representative of the high calibre of artistic talent found in our local community.

Over 1200 people visited the gallery across its three-month exhibition period, making it one of Mudgee Arts Precinct’s most popular exhibitions.

This is a unique opportunity to have your name or brand associated with Mudgee Arts Precinct, the state-of-the art regional gallery which has become a must-see attraction in the Mid-Western Region. With 31,000 visitors making their way to Mudgee Arts Precinct exhibitions in 2023, sponsoring an art prize is not only a good philanthropic contribution, but one that will benefit the development of the region’s cultural economy.
