FREE SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOP

Raid your recycling bins for old packaging and join Michael Bourke for a fun morning of sustainable art making. 

To support the upcoming Mid-Western Waste 2 Art 2024 Competition and exhibition, Mudgee Arts Precinct is offering a FREE Sustainable Kids Art Making workshop on Monday 22 April 2024.

Learn a range of techniques, come up with ideas and start creating your Waste 2 Art exhibition entry.

Participants are encouraged to bring along old packaging materials with them but will also gain access to a bank of recycled materials that they can use. 

Examples of packaging you may wish to collect and bring along are:

  • egg cartons
  • old packing boxes/ cereal boxes
  • empty food packaging (cleaned)
  • old online shopping postage bags and envelopes
  • bailing twine
  • plastic bubble wrap
  • old containers (cleaned)
  • milk bottles 
  • shoe boxes

Suitable for children ages 5 and up. 
Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No bookings required.
